La Cala de Mijas is a charming coastal town, renowned for it's gastronomic offer; it boasts a variety of restaurants that cater to the most diverse tastes and preferences. Whether you're looking for traditional Spanish cuisine, fresh seafood, international flavors, or a romantic dining experience, you'll find excellent options to suit your culinary desires.

A variety of sports and recreational activities are available for both residents and visitors to enjoy: golf, hiking, cycling, watersports, tennis and padel, horseback riding, fitness and wellness.

Malaga boasts a rich cultural heritage and is home to a variety of museums that cater to different interests. Some of the notable museums to visit in Malaga are: Picasso Museum, Centre Pompidou, Museum Carmen Thyssen, Museum of Malaga combining fine arts and archeology, Automobile and Fashion Museum, the historical sites of Alcazaba of Malaga and Gibralfaro Castle, and last but not least the Wine Museum.

Most beaches on the Costa del Sol boast year on year blue flag certification - so you won't be disappointed by visiting them. La Cala has definitely got some of the best beached around, with excellent services and golden sands. If your family includes a a four legged companion, there is also a dog beach near Castillo Sohail in Fuengirola and another one closer to Marbella (Playa El Pinillo).

Esmeralda studio is ideally situated to facilitate traveling around Andalucia and Cadiz for those who want a more adventurous and sight-seeing holiday. Recommended places to visit: Ronda, Malaga, Gibraltar, Tarifa, Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba...
